What is done with personal data

  • Displays mobile phone numbers and names to configured recipients.
  • Depending on what field codes that is used all kinds of information can be sent to an SMS supplier via API.
  • The add-on stores each sent message on the smssendout limetype, and stores the recipient's phone number on a related smsrecipient record (the recipient's name is read from the related receiver record, e.g. a person or coworker).

Why personal data is needed

  • The phone numbers is needed for sending a text message to the recipient.
  • Possible future feature could be an optional setting if you should store the message or not.

What personal data

  • Phone number
  • Name
  • Configured values used in field codes.

Transfer of personal data

  • The text messages is sent to an SMS supplier, such as Link Mobility, or internally through Lime CRM's own SMS engine (Bizwizard). All calls are made as web requests.
  • All data is sent via HTTPS.

Logging of personal data

  • The message that was sent is stored on the smssendout limetype.
  • The recipient's phone number is stored on the related smsrecipient record.
  • The recipient's name is read from the related receiver record (e.g. person or coworker) and is not stored separately by the add-on.
  • Values used in field codes (merge variables) are sent to Lime Marketing but are not stored as separate fields in Lime CRM.

Possible avoidance of using personal data

  • You can avoid using sensitive field codes in the configuration.
  • Possible future feature could be an optional setting if you should store the message or not.
